Our manufacturing client, a major building trade supplier based in Bradford, BD2, is looking for Galvanising Operatives/Plant Labourers on a permanent basis to add to the current Galvanising team on their night shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a local business with a drive to expand. 

Salary / Benefits:

• £13.71 per hour, plus productivity bonus after 4 weeks of service - increasing to £2.00 per hour.

Shift:

• Mon – Thu 21:30 – 05:30, Fri 16:30 – 21:30  (38 hours per week)
• Occasional overtime available

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

• Supporting the movement of stock throughout the site
• Manually lifting steel frames ready to be dipped into Galvanising baths. 
• Operating machinery/Overhead cranes
• Galvanising products from either businesses or direct customer orders. 

Candidate:

• The successful Galvanising Assistant will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, able to work unsupervised once fully trained. 
• The Galvanising Operative will have the ability to learn the full Galvanising process. 
• An enthusiasm to learn new skills
• An eye for detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 

Requirements

• Ability to follow strict Health and Safety procedures throughout the site.
• Must be adaptable and have the ability to multi-skill.
• Be flexible with working hours
