Cubed Resourcing are working exclusively in partnership with a company based in Bingley, West Yorkshire that is a leading international supplier of innovative equipment and services to the microbiology and tissue culture industries.

Our client develops, manufactures, markets and services instrumentation and associated products for the public and private sector - primarily for use in hospitals, public health laboratories, food testing organisations, pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.

We are looking to recruit a permanent Warehouse Supervisor who will work directly with the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager.

The main purpose of the role is to manage, supervise and support the flow of materials from component specification through to order despatch based on sales and service requirements.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for the coordination and day to day supervision of staffing, and the logistics, and management of the warehouse.

Initially to be considered for this role, you must have a recognised background in warehouse operations.

The individual will require a good approach to the management of warehouse operations, people and an understanding of the importance of achieving targets and deadlines with the team.

Attributes:

·         Numeracy, literacy and organisation skills with basic knowledge of SAGE, Excel and Word.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Strong leadership.

·         Ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team to resolve problems.

·         Ability to follow processes and procedures.

·         Able to prioritise workloads and multi-task.

·         In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution.

·         A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures.

·         Full Driving Licence.

·         Fork Lift Truck Licence.

Responsibilities:

·         To support the supervising and day to day running of goods inwards, warehouse storage and product despatch to ensure product is available to meet the sales requirements of the company and customers.

·         Provide cover and support for Logistics, Purchase Administrator and Warehouse Manager when required, maintaining operational standards and behaviours.

·         Quality control packaging and labelling of products before they are dispatched.

·         Picking of works orders which requires accurate reading and understanding. 

·         Ensuring that all inventory processes are completed on the same day.

·         Monitoring stock levels.

·         Accurately updating all data into computer and manual recording systems.

·         Deliver a culture of Health & Safety.

·         Deliver and exceed operational KPI targets and goals.

·         Delivers effective communication to colleagues, managers and directors of the business.
