Job Description

We are working in partnership with an innovative technology-led company who develop, manufacture and distribute rapid testing products for a range of medical, veterinary and engineering applications. 

Due to significant demand for their services, both with the COVID-19 piece and subsequently in many other areas, they are now recruiting for a Project Manager, to join the business on a permanent basis, who will be responsible for leading on various projects across the business. 

Role Responsibilities: 
  • Day to day management of new product development projects under an established Quality Management System
  • Project planning, preparation and maintenance of project documents including timeline management, allocation of resource and revision of plans as necessary to meet changing priorities.
  • Effective communication with project team members and project stakeholders to coordinate the timely progression and completion of project deliverables.
  • Generation and maintenance of product development documentation for Design History Files.
  • Monitoring of project progression, escalating of project issues, and provision of status updates to stakeholders as written and verbal reports.
  • Scheduling of project meetings, both in person and using virtual meeting technology, taking and circulating minutes and actions and following these up.
  • Work closely with all relevant departments / roles to onboard and report on projects to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
  • Other duties as may be required from time to time
The candidate: 
  • Previous project management experience is essential 
  • Experience working with ISO 13485 
  • Excellent resource management and communications skills, both written and verbal,
  • The ability to deal professionally with customer and colleagues.
  • Excellent IT skills  
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (negotiable experience dependent) 
Hours and Location: 8:30am - 5:30pm Mon to Fri (exact working hours will vary slightly), mainly working from their head office/main manufacturing facility in Sand Hutton, York. There will also be some remote working.
