Job Description

Our engineering client is recruiting for a Site Electrician to join their team working on various sites across the Midlands. Our client is a leading supplier of engineering solutions, specialising in the bespoke design and construction of metal fabrications and the turnkey supply of physical water, energy, and environmental management installations. As a full electro-mechanical service provider, they can help to support almost any project.

With this wide range of expertise, they work within UK water utilities, power companies, government agencies, and drainage boards – with many appointing them as their preferred framework contractor. They have recently appointed a new MD who is a Strategic Growth Plan and will be diversifying into new areas Modular and Nuclear. As a result of this growth plan, they are recruiting for a Site Electrician. 

The Role 

  • Responsible for the onsite preventative planned maintenance & repair of predominantly water-based assets
  • Safe working knowledge of ECS “Permit to work “ system
  • Working with Low Voltage Control Panels 50 TO 1000V including fault finding  
  • Working on level control systems ( Pulsar, Milltronics / Siemens ) 
  • To work on Instrumentation and control systems, Pumps, motors, Actuators (Auma, Rotork)

The Candidate 

  • Experience in PPM, fault finding, and repair 
  • Will have completed an Electrical apprenticeship or level 3 Electrical qualification 
  • ECS/CSCS JIB Cardholder
  • 2391 Test and Inspection – desirable 
  • SMSTS/SSSTS qualified – desirable 
  • Health and Safety trained -desirable  
  • 18th Edition – desirable 
  • Must be available to travel to various sites across the Midlands

Salary & Benefits 

  • £31,000 per annum PAYE 
  • Working 40 hours per week 
  • On-call Rota/ On-call bonus 
  • 33 days holiday including stats 
  • Health care scheme 
  • Company vehicle fully expensed
