Job Description

We are working in Partnership to with our client an E-Commerce business to recruit several Executive Customer Managers on a full-time, permanent basis. These roles will be based at their head office near Wetherby in North Yorkshire. 

They work with an existing portfolio of clients which is growing year on year - this includes sports & clothing retailers, to charities. 

As a Executive Customer Manager you will...

  • Proactively manage the financial performance and business development of client contracts 
  • Have a thorough understanding of the commercial and operational needs of our clients, to identify opportunities 
  • Ensure all in contract pricing negotiations and communications are carried out in a timely and effective manner
  • Own the contract, make sure all key milestone dates are adhered to
  • Oversee the onboarding process, liaising with all internal departments and department heads to ensure communication is effective, and that all business departments are fully engaged and prepared for contract go live
  • Ensure client contractual obligations are maintained addressing under performance when necessary
  • Manage client expectations around performance 
  • Oversee the activity plan for each client
  • Run regular review meetings with clients
  • Lead a team by example; promote team work and development of the team
Experience Required / You: 
  • Strong and proven account management and business development experience
  • Demonstrable experience of customer care and managing client relationships across a varied client portfolio, including performance management of Accounts
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to coach and mentor other team members
  • Displays empathy when dealing with clients and colleagues alike
  • Able to build trust, respect and rapport quickly and at all levels
  • Takes and advisory approach towards clients, considering all possible issues and creating the right solution
  • Proven track record of hitting / exceeding targets

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (experiencedependent
Hours: Monday to Friday 
Contract: full-time, permanent 
Location: likely to be full time in the office initially (3-6 months), building up to working from home a few days a week 
Due to location and lack of public transport - candidates will need to have their own transport
