Cubed Talent is working with a market leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed machinery, with an $8.5 bn turnover, a reputation for excellence and operations in 41 countries – to recruit for a Production Scheduler to join their team based in Shipley on a permanent basis.

The role

We are looking to recruit an Production Scheduling Co-ordinator to join the team in Shipley.  

Role Criteria

Your primary responsibilities will involve extensive liaison with key departments, such as Sales, during the quote phase, providing lead time estimates and ensuring engineering meet target issue dates and checking data integrity of part set up.

In addition, you will ensure Production Engineering action Make/Buy decisions in time, and produce routings for Make parts to enable production works orders to be started on time. Producing Schedules for Bar Stores and Casting Stores, along with MRP Exception Listing spreadsheet, you’ll liaise with Finance to perform standard cost build ups on make parts, to enable Production Works Orders to be produced.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

You will have an organised approach and a 'can-do' attitude necessary to demonstrate enthusiasm to enable you to communicate effectively whilst working to tight deadlines. Efficiency and accuracy of using a MRP2 preferred however training will be given.  Competency in Microsoft Office software applications is essential. (Excel / Word / Outlook).

As an ideal candidate you will have scheduling/Supply Chain experience, alongwith knowledge of MRP2 systems, bills of materials, routings, part types, purchase order and sales orders preferably having worked in a scheduling support or transactional background.

Package and further details

  • Starting Grade C8 which equates to £28,035
  • Bonus and pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
  • 37.5 hours per week on days.
This job requires a driven person who can prioritise their workload and meet the needs of the business. This role will also mean attending weekly meetings with internal stake holders regarding orders to be expedited with suppliers on a weekly basis.
