As we expand our team, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join us in delivering top-notch engineering solutions.
Salary details & package
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00-15:00, with occasional weekend work.
- Company van and fuel card

- 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Holiday ‘buy back’ scheme (the company will ‘buy back’ up to 5 days annually)

- Company closes for the Christmas period.
- Travel across the whole of the UK (accommodation arranged by ECS when needed).
About the Job:
Location: UK wide travel, from Cornwall to Scotland.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for various tasks that ensure the reliability and functionality of mechanical equipment. Your duties will include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
- Conducting general mechanical duties.
- Installing mechanical equipment, including screw pumps, motors, gearboxes, and bearings.
- Fitting steel support systems to facilitate equipment installations.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment faults.
- Undertaking varied tasks and occasionally assisting Electricians or Civil Engineers.
- Willingness to travel away from home when necessary (typically Monday-Friday with occasional weekends).
- Implementing and adhering to the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
- Understanding and complying with Control of Pre-Construction Information (CPCI), Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
- Prioritizing safety by adhering to health and safety requirements on-site, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues at all times.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications and requirements:
- Ideally mechanical apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification would be beneficial, however is not essential.
- Current Confined Space training.
- CSCS Card holder.
- Civils experience would be highly advantageous
