The Job Role:
We need an experienced sales manager with specific knowledge of food and beverage ingredients.
- The purpose of the position is to expand the company’s existing market share within food and beverage.
- You will be working with an existing base of business which will need to be maintained and developed.
- The company have plans to expand products to include nutritional supplements which will form part of your remit as sales manager.
- You will be supported by an internal sales team member who will assist you with leads for you to develop new business.
- You will be required to develop and implement an effective sales strategy to support growth plans which will include delivering sales of key strategic products, converting new business in line with individual sales budgets.
- The role is national role with a head office based in Yorkshire. We are looking for a candidate who is able to spend 1-2 days at head office, especially within the first 6 months.
Selection Criteria
- You will need to have a proven track record of sales within the food, beverage and nutritional ingredient sector.
- At least 5 years experience of selling within this specialist field.
- A natural ability to develop credible relationships at a senior level.
- Experience of managing technically complex budget
