About the job:
Production Operatives
As a Production Operative, you will be an integral part of a small and collaborative team (typically 4 people) working on production lines. Your main responsibilities will include filling paint tubs, conducting quality control, and maintaining machinery. While manual handling is minimal thanks to advanced material handling equipment and line design, you'll occasionally move individual tubs of filled paint. Training will be provided for the operation of pump trucks to move pallets.
Labelling Operatives:
If you're more inclined towards precision and attention to detail, our Labelling Operative roles involve working with empty tubs on labelling lines. Tubs are re-labelled either by hand or via automated lines, showcasing your meticulous skills.
Working Hours:
Rotating Shift
- Monday to Thursday; 5.50am - 2pm and Friday; 5.50am - 1pm then Monday to Thursday; 1.50pm – 9pm and Friday; 12.50pm - 7pm (Rotating weekly)
- Breaks: Enjoy 30 minutes of paid break time, with some areas offering 2 X 15-minute breaks at the Cell Leaders' discretion.
Night Shift
- Monday to Thursday; 20:45pm – 06:15am
- Breaks: Enjoy 30 minutes of paid break time, with some areas offering 2 X 15-minute breaks at the Cell Leaders' discretion.
Pay Rate:
Rotating Shift
- Starting at £13.27 per hour, which will increase after 12 weeks
- Overtime opportunities with attractive rates – from £19.91 up to £26.54 per hour, depending on day/hours worked
Nights
- Starting at £14.39 per hour, which will increase after 12 weeks
- Overtime opportunities with attractive rates – from £21.59 up to £28.78 per hour, depending on day/hours worked
