About the Opportunity:
Our esteemed client, located on the outskirts of Leeds, is actively seeking a talented Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a market-leading business renowned for its exceptional culture, this opportunity promises a fulfilling career path.
Job details:
- Addressing electrical (and occasionally mechanical) breakdowns swiftly and efficiently.
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Responding promptly to factory needs, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implementing machinery modifications as required.
- Expertly diagnosing faults and conducting troubleshooting activities.
- Maintaining open communication with the Engineering Manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Working hours: 8.5 hours per day. Shifts are 6:00 – 14:30/14:30-23:00 on a rotating shift.
About you:
- A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship/Qualification.
- City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and NVQ Parts 1,2 & 3.
- Proven experience in electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills honed through practical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of how Programmable Logic Controllers work.
