Job Description
Cubed Resourcing are working with a market leader in the production of high strength composite materials with a large World Wide client base. We are actively recruiting for a number of Machine Operators/Production Operatives and Machine Minders for temporary to permanent opportunities at their manufacturing plant in Oakworth (BD22).
 
Successful applicants will ideally have experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment with machine operating experience. 

Development opportunities are available within the business. In time successful candidates will be trained on a variety of machines and processes to help develop their skills and capabilities. 
 
The role of Machine Operator includes:
  • Operating the extrusion process.
  • Assist with start-up and shut down process.
  • Responsible for the packing and palletising of finished products.
  • Ensure quality is maintained.
  • Complete all paperwork related to process control and hourly checks.
  • Ensuring a thorough hand over for shift change over. 
  • To complete relevant training for new machinery 
Pay:
£9.20 - £10.01 per hour.
Overtime is paid at time and a half and double time. 
 
Hours:
The company operates on several shift patterns.
A and B Shift: 
Monday – Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 Friday 06:00 – 11:00 and Monday – Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 Friday 11:00 – 16:00.
This shift rotates on a weekly basis
C Shift: 
Monday – Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00 & Friday: 16:00 – 20:00


For this position you will need to demonstrate and evidence your previous five years' work history. You will need to provide credible references from your current/previous employers before testing stage.
 
Having your own transport would be an advantage due to location and shift start and finish times, unless you live locally to site.
