Cubed Resourcing are proud to be working in partnership with one the the UK's leading construction and engineering companies.  Situated just off the M606 motorway - within easy access from south Bradford, south Leeds, Birstall, Halifax and north Huddersfield areas our client specialises in Modular and Offsite building solutions for large projects both in the UK and internationally.

Having a record breaking year they have recently secured a number of large contracts and have a full order book that takes them though the coming years.  Due to this increase we are recruiting on an on-going basis for circa 20 Assembly Operatives to start on a weekly basis over the coming weeks and months into 2020.


In addition to having a solid work history and be in a position to provide references, you will need to demonstrate a basic aptitude for building mechanical assemblies using both manual and powered tools, previous experience of using engineering drawings would be advantageous.

Ideally, you will be familiar with using hand tools, jigs, basic technical drawings and other manufacturing techniques – although those with an aptitude for learning these skills will be given support from the company during your initial weeks and further development as you progress.

A commitment to safe working practices, quality, right first-time production, output and attention to detail are important pre-requisites. 

The role of Modular Assembler:

In return, you will have an opportunity to work with one the UK`s leading independent engineering and services businesses who specialise in modular construction and engineering with excellent vocational training from the get-go and the opportunity to access further training and development in due course for qualifying workers.


  • Building engineering components to be installed into large scale builds.
  • Use numerous tools both manual and powered.
  • Read basic engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Quality check all finished work and amend where necessary.
  • You will actively participate in improvements through the application of continuous improvement techniques and identify, highlight and record any problems that arise during manufacture. 

Pay rate:

From £8.48 to £9.88 per hour

These pay rates includes a performance bonus; this is measured on timekeeping, attendance, attitude and overall performance. 


Basic hours are 07:30 – 17:30 Monday to Thursday.

Overtime paid at Tx1.5 on hours worked over basic 37.5 hours Monday through Saturday and at Tx2 Sundays and Bank Holidays.
