Job Description

Cubed Resourcing are proud to work in partnership with our prestigious client Borg Warner, a world class specialist in advanced turbocharger technology and leading global supplier of innovative turbo charging and air management systems for passenger cars, light trucks and commercial vehicles for customers such as Ford, Daimler, DAF, JCB, Scania - we are currently recruiting for Mechanical TAG Technician.

The successful candidate will provide engineering support with  the respect to validation and release of turbocharger components. Responsible for various processes and deliverables as directed within the Technical  Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out tear down analysis of returned validation and release turbochargers.
2. To ensure that returned validation turbochargers are stripped and analysed in a timely manner.
3. To write engineering reports with the findings from the above tear down analysis.
4. To produce accurate engineering reports with the findings from the above tear down analysis.
5. Maintain high levels of professionalism and positive work ethic
6. Close cooperation and  communication with other departments
7. Determination of failure mode.
8. Utilise lessons learnt from previous turbochargers.
9. Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. To maintain all requirements from the 5s and T.P.M guidelines including upkeep of required documentation.
11. To maintain Health and Safety standards in and around the department, including timely and accurate reporting of all Health and Safety issues to Technical Centre Supervisors .
12. Maintain high levels of professionalism and positive work ethic.

You will have worked within a Mechanical or Electrical role, with excellent attention to detail.


1. Apprentice trained preferred
2. Engine and combustion knowledge advantageous
3. Creativity, proactivity, able to work on own or as part of a team
4. Comfortable working to deadlines
5. Experience in Turbocharger Assembly desired
6. Hands on experience in a mechanical environment
